Jonathan Levit to host new magic tv show on VH-1

Although I have posted earlier about a show on VH-1, I have yet been unable to get a clear picture of what the show will actually be about. But, I have confirmed Jonathan Levitt will be the host of the show. And it should begin airing early next year. Perhaps this will be a big boost to Jonathan’s career….

Magician almost raped at Magic Castle Hotel

September 19, one of the magicians on a VH-1 show was assaulted around 5:30 in the morning. The man lost his cellphone in the scuffle and was lured to police in a nearby park where he was arrested.

Magic bar to open in Southern California

Details are still not perfectly clear, but we can say with confidence, “A magic bar is being planned for opening in southern California.”

I have been able to determine it will open in Los Angeles, Orange, or San Diego county.

Specific details will be published as more is learned…

With all of the physical magic shops closing, it’s nice to see anything magic related open, even if it is merely planning stages at this time.

Bunny Boy is coming

The first rule of Fight Club is – you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is – you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club, someone yells Stop!, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule, only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule, one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule, no shirt, no shoes. Seventh rule, fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule, if this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.

Actually, there’s a ninth rule of fight club: Luke Jermay wants to flex his nuts and fight you.

Bob Kohler to debut new mentalism effect at MAGIC Live!

With MAGIC Live! a little over a week away, those of you attending should keep an eye out for Bob Kohler’s new mentalism effect. Knowing Bob, it will be fantastic, and very expensive.

Magician’s Oath has decided to not report the technology in use behind the effect in order to protect the creator.

We have been unable to confirm, but it appears as if the set will be mentalism.
